Objective of this Position
To serve teachers and students by providing academic help and encouragement.
General Description
Assist one-to-one with students in English, science, and social studies primarily with reading comprehension, project organization, and basic writing skills. Assist in math with either high- or low-level students.

Skills Required
English, science, and social studies: foundational knowledge in reading comprehension and sentence/paragraph writing.
Math: foundational knowledge in arithmetic and/or college-readiness math.
Skills/Interests Helpful
Some experience having worked with teens is helpful.
Time Commitment
2-4 hrs./week
Training Required
One hour training with teacher or current tutor volunteer.
